Dr. Lizzie is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is on staff and maintains privileges in the Department of Surgery Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the Charleston Area Medical Center where she also serves on the Cleft/Craniofacial Team. She is on the West Virginia Dental Board Anesthesia Committee and is the American Association of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD) State Public Policy Advocate.

Dr. Lizzie is currently a member of the Kanawha Valley Dental Society, the West Virginia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Pediatric Dentists on the local, state, and national level. She was recently nominated as Co-Chair of the WV Give Kids a Smile Day and will serve as Chair for the 2016-2017 term.

She obtained a B.S. in Chemistry and then earned her D.M.D. in 2011, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Dr. Lizzie then completed a 2 year pediatric dental residency  before earning her master’s degree in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Dr. Lizzie enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband, Matt O’Dell, a native to Hurricane, West Virginia, and their two dogs Ellie and Bruiser.  ​Her  philosophy is to provide a warm, inviting, creative, and educational experience to you and your family with exceptional customer service. We would love to meet you and your children and look forward to welcoming you to our practice!
