The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

We also offer in hospital treatment with general anesthesia for our patients who require more invasive procedures or who struggle with acute anxiety.
